Nankang's CR-S is finally available in Europe and I had to try those. I was expecting a tyre capable of maintaining performance through multiple laps and as you can see during this short stint, they seem to do that just fine. I did 1 cooldown lap after the 3rd lap so my oil temps wouldn't get too hot, the tyres didn't need that. Fastest lap of the day: 1:51.06 Theoretical best: 1:49.94 GR Yaris...

Rescuing footage from last year. 2nd lap on a busy Sunday, started with some proper WRC style driving... Then I got caught by the Apex M3 taxi (I messed up my braking a bit after foxhole when I saw it in the mirror) and tried my best to keep up. Traffic and a yellow flag allowed me to finish the lap right behind the M3... Otherwise the power difference was too big.

Just a fun little drive with my friend's Corolla. The car has a custom catback and KW V2 suspension, it's a bit too low in the front and you can hear it rubbing on some corners, I had to take it easier than usual.

11-2-23 Primera vuelta intentando seguir el 911 GT3. En las rectas no hay nada que hacer pero con algo de fe en curva y aprovechando el tráfico pude engancharme detrás. Dos vueltas al Jarama durante el Master Drivers de Tandas Privadas. La primera vuelta con mucho mejor ritmo, pero el tráfico me hizo perder más de 2 segundos. A typical August TF session on the Nordschleife, lots of traffic and yellow flags. And yet this is my quickest lap of this year's visit. Looks very fast for a stock suspension yaris, The GRMN yaris with bilstein b16 suspension would utilize the CRS tires much better
Stock suspension isn’t that bad, works well in most situations. A more track focused setup would be better tho.

Pues no miré cuántas vueltas, para que te hagas una idea tenía 8h de pista aunque no rodé todo el rato. Los frenos de serie con buenas pastillas y líquido como llevo, aguantan muchísimo!

How CR-S feels compared to AR-1?
To me it feels like a more refined tyre. It takes a bit longer to properly heat up but then it can take the punishment no problem. And on the road it’s very civilized, no noise or vibrations like the AR1.

They are! In my opinion there's very few modern cars that offer this level of fun, and for the price nothing comes close!
How would you say the space inside is? I'm a pretty tall guy and looking at perhaps getting one. I'm 194cm/ 6'4 or smthn, do you recon I would fit comfortably?
I think it's quite ok, like the regular Corolla, but I'm just 172cm so I'm not the best reference for that!

What are your camber settings sir? And, did the rear factory lower control arms give you enough adjustment with coilovers, or did you have to change that as well?
It's -3.3º front. I don't have adjustable rear control arms, at current height the car sits at -2º rear and I don't feel like I need to change that at all.
